Instructions
- Prepare the Base: Line a 9×13-inch baking dish with parchment paper. Arrange crackers in a single even layer.
- Make the Toffee: Melt butter in a saucepan, stir in brown sugar, and bring to a gentle boil. Cook for 3 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla.
- Pour Toffee: Carefully pour the hot toffee over the cracker layer and spread evenly.
- Bake: Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 10 minutes until bubbling.
- Add Chocolate: Sprinkle chocolate chips over hot toffee, let melt for 3 minutes, then spread smooth.
- Add Peanut Butter Layer: Warm peanut butter until spreadable and swirl or spread over the chocolate layer.
- Chill: Cool 15–20 minutes, then refrigerate at least 2 hours.
- Cut and Serve: Lift from parchment and cut into bars or squares.
