Strawberry Dole Whip: A Fruity Frozen Treat

  • Author: Lyndy kitchen

Description

If you love cool, fruity desserts with a tropical twist, this Strawberry Dole Whip recipe is about to be your new go-to summer treat

Ingredients

Scale

  • 2 cups frozen strawberries
  • ¼ to ½ cup coconut milk (or almond, oat, or cashew milk)
  • 12 tablespoons maple syrup, honey, or sweetener of choice (optional, adjust to taste)
  • Optional add-ins: ½ teaspoon vanilla extract, 1 tablespoon lemon juice, a few frozen banana slices for extra creaminess

Instructions

Step 1: Add ingredients to your blender
Combine the frozen strawberries, ¼ cup of coconut milk, and sweetener (if using) into your high-speed blender or food processor.

Step 2: Blend until smooth
Blend on high, stopping to scrape down the sides as needed. Add more coconut milk, a tablespoon at a time, until the texture is creamy but thick—like soft-serve.

Step 3: Taste and adjust
Taste and adjust sweetness, adding a little more sweetener or a squeeze of lemon juice if desired.

Step 4: Serve immediately
Scoop into bowls or cones for a soft-serve style treat. For a swirl, transfer to a piping bag with a star tip and swirl into your serving dish.

Step 5: Optional: Freeze briefly
For a firmer texture, freeze for 15–20 minutes before scooping.

Notes

  • Use fully frozen fruit to get that thick, creamy consistency.
  • Add the milk slowly—you want just enough to blend, not too much.
  • For a richer, creamier Dole Whip, use full-fat canned coconut milk.
