Description

This Korean Maggi Recipe is a fiery fusion of Indian Maggi noodles and Korean spice. Made with gochujang, sautéed vegetables, and classic Maggi flavor, it’s a bold, comforting, and easy 15-minute meal that brings the best of both worlds together.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 packs of Maggi noodles (or any instant noodles)
  • 1 tablespoon gochujang (Korean chili paste)
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 small onion, finely sliced
  • ½ cup cabbage, shredded
  • ½ cup carrots, julienned
  • ½ cup bell peppers, sliced
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 Maggi tastemaker sachet
  • Salt, to taste
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon red chili flakes (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon spring onions (for garnish)
  • Sesame seeds, for topping

Optional add-ins: paneer cubes, tofu, mushrooms, or scrambled egg.

Instructions

  1. Cook the Noodles: Boil 2 cups of water and cook Maggi noodles for 2 minutes until slightly underdone. Drain and set aside.
  2. Prepare the Sauce: Mix gochujang, soy sauce, sesame oil, and Maggi tastemaker in a bowl to form a spicy paste.
  3. Stir-Fry the Vegetables: Heat vegetable oil in a wok. Add minced garlic and sliced onions; sauté until golden. Add cabbage, carrots, and bell peppers. Stir-fry for 2–3 minutes.
  4. Combine Noodles and Sauce: Add noodles to the wok. Pour in the spicy sauce and toss to coat evenly.
  5. Season and Garnish: Add salt, pepper, and chili flakes. Stir-fry 1 more minute. Garnish with sesame seeds and spring onions. Serve hot!

Notes

  • Do not overcook noodles—keep them slightly firm.
  • Adjust gochujang for your preferred spice level.
  • Add tofu, paneer, or eggs for a protein boost.
  • For extra crunch, top with chopped peanuts or sesame seeds.
  • Store leftovers for up to 2 days and reheat with a splash of water.
