  • Author: Lyndy
  • Total Time: 1 hour
  • Yield: 16 brownies 1x

Description

Slutty Brownies are the ultimate layered dessert — a rich combination of buttery chocolate chip cookie dough, creamy Oreo cookies, and a gooey fudgy brownie topping baked into one irresistible treat. Every bite delivers chewy, crunchy, and melt-in-your-mouth layers of pure decadence, making them perfect for parties, bake sales, or cozy nights in.

Ingredients

Scale
    • For the Cookie Layer:
    • 1/2 cup (115 g) unsalted butter, softened
    • 1/2 cup (100 g) brown sugar
    • 1/4 cup (50 g) granulated sugar
    • 1 large egg
    • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
    • 1 1/4 cups (160 g) all-purpose flour
    • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
    • 1/4 teaspoon salt
    • 3/4 cup (130 g) chocolate chips

    • For the Middle Layer:
    • 16 Oreo cookies (regular or double-stuffed)

    • For the Brownie Layer:
    • 1/2 cup (115 g) unsalted butter
    • 1/2 cup (100 g) granulated sugar
    • 1/2 cup (100 g) brown sugar
    • 2 large eggs
    • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
    • 1/3 cup (40 g) cocoa powder
    • 1/2 cup (65 g) all-purpose flour
    • 1/4 teaspoon salt

  • Optional Add-ins: 1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans, 1/4 cup chocolate chunks, sprinkle of flaky sea salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven: Set to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8×8-inch pan with parchment paper and lightly grease it.
  2. Make the cookie layer: Cream butter and sugars until fluffy. Mix in egg and vanilla. Add flour, baking soda, and salt, then fold in chocolate chips. Spread evenly in the pan.
  3. Add Oreos: Place Oreos on top of the cookie dough in a single layer.
  4. Prepare brownie batter: Melt butter, then whisk with sugars until smooth. Add eggs, vanilla, cocoa powder, flour, and salt. Stir until combined.
  5. Assemble and bake: Pour brownie batter over Oreos, spreading to cover. Bake for 35–40 minutes until top is set but center is still soft.
  6. Cool and serve: Let cool completely before slicing for clean layers. Optionally, top with ice cream or chocolate drizzle.

Notes

  • Don’t overbake — the center should stay slightly gooey.
  • Line the pan for easy removal and neat slices.
  • Use boxed mixes for a shortcut version with the same great flavor.
  • Double the recipe for a 9×13-inch pan when feeding a crowd.
  • Freeze individual slices for up to 2 months — reheat for fresh-out-of-the-oven texture.
