These Slow Cooker Salisbury Steak Meatballs are hearty, comforting, and incredibly easy to make! Tender frozen meatballs are simmered in a rich onion and mushroom gravy that’s perfect over mashed potatoes, rice, or noodles. Ideal for busy weeknights, potlucks, or whenever you’re craving no-fuss comfort food.
Ingredients
32 oz frozen fully-cooked meatballs 2 packets (about 1.5 oz each) brown gravy mix 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup 2 cups beef broth 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce 1 large yellow onion, sliced 8 oz sliced mushrooms (optional) ½ teaspoon garlic powder Black pepper, to taste Fresh parsley, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
1. In a medium bowl, whisk together beef broth, gravy mix, cream of mushroom soup, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and black pepper. 2. Place sliced onions and mushrooms in the bottom of a 6–7 quart slow cooker. 3. Top with frozen meatballs and pour gravy mixture evenly over the top. 4. Cover and cook on low for 4–6 hours or on high for 2–3 hours, until heated through. 5. Stir gently, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve hot over mashed potatoes, rice, or noodles.
Notes
• Use fully cooked frozen meatballs for best results. • For thicker gravy, mix 1 tablespoon cornstarch with 2 tablespoons water and stir in during the last 30 minutes. • Add extra mushrooms or onions to taste. • Leftovers keep well in the fridge for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 2 months.
