2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts 1 packet ranch dressing seasoning mix 1 teaspoon garlic powder ½ teaspoon onion powder ½ teaspoon black pepper 8 oz cream cheese (one block) 1 cup cooked and crumbled bacon (or bacon bits) 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional for topping) 23 green onions, chopped (for garnish) 1 cup chicken broth (optional, for thinning sauce if desired)


Instructions

1. Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of the slow cooker. 2. Sprinkle ranch seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper evenly over the chicken. 3. Add the block of cream cheese directly on top of the seasoned chicken. 4. Cover and cook on LOW for 6–7 hours or HIGH for 4 hours until chicken is cooked and tender. 5. Shred the chicken using two forks directly in the Crockpot. 6. Stir in crumbled bacon and mix until creamy and well combined. Add chicken broth to thin if needed. 7. Serve hot with optional shredded cheddar and green onions on top.

Notes

Can be prepped the night before and stored in the fridge before cooking. For Instant Pot: Cook chicken with ½ cup broth on high pressure for 15 minutes, shred, then stir in cream cheese and bacon using sauté mode. Use reduced-fat cream cheese or turkey bacon for a lighter version. Freezes well in portions for up to 3 months. Serve over rice, buns, mashed potatoes, or lettuce wraps.
