For the Shrimp:
- 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined

For the Garlic Butter Sauce:
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- ½ cup dry white wine or low-sodium chicken broth
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- ¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions
- Season shrimp: Pat shrimp dry and season lightly with salt and pepper.
- Sauté shrimp: Heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook shrimp 1–2 minutes per side until pink. Remove and set aside.
- Cook garlic: Reduce heat to medium, add remaining butter and garlic, and sauté until fragrant (30–60 seconds).
- Deglaze: Pour in white wine (or broth) and lemon juice. Simmer 1–2 minutes to slightly reduce.
- Finish: Return shrimp to skillet, toss to coat, and sprinkle with parsley.
- Serve: Serve immediately over pasta, rice, or with crusty bread.

- Do not overcook shrimp: Shrimp should be just opaque to stay tender.
- Wine-free option: Chicken broth works perfectly in place of wine.
- Extra flavor: Add red pepper flakes or toss in spinach or cherry tomatoes at the end.
