- 1 teaspoon instant yeast
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¾ cup warm water
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
For the Filling:
- ½ cup pizza sauce (homemade or store-bought)
- 1 cup shredded vegan mozzarella or cheddar
- ¼ cup chopped bell peppers
- ¼ cup sliced mushrooms
- ¼ cup chopped spinach
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Pinch of chili flakes (optional)
For Brushing (Optional):
- 1 tablespoon olive oil mixed with a pinch of garlic powder and parsley
Optional Add-Ons: Olives, sun-dried tomatoes, roasted zucchini, or artichokes.
Instructions
- Prepare the Dough: Mix flour, yeast, sugar, and salt in a bowl. Gradually add warm water and olive oil. Knead for 5 minutes until smooth. Cover and let rise for 45 minutes until doubled in size.
- Prepare the Filling: Chop veggies and mix with pizza sauce, spices, and vegan cheese.
- Roll and Fill: Roll dough into a rectangle ¼-inch thick. Spread pizza sauce, sprinkle cheese and toppings evenly.
- Shape and Slice: Roll the dough tightly into a log and slice into 10–12 equal pieces. Place on a parchment-lined tray.
- Bake: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake 18–22 minutes until golden brown and crisp on the edges.
- Serve: Brush with olive oil and herbs. Serve warm with extra pizza sauce or vegan garlic dip.
