  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Description

This irresistibly creamy salmon spinach pasta is the ultimate fish dinner recipe — quick, wholesome, and packed with flavor. Tender pasta tossed in a velvety garlic-Parmesan cream sauce, flaked salmon, and fresh spinach makes a comforting dinner ready in under 30 minutes.

Ingredients

Scale

12 oz (340g) spaghetti or fettuccine 2 salmon fillets (about 6 oz/170g each), skin removed 2 tablespoons olive oil Salt and black pepper, to taste 3 cloves garlic, minced 1/2 cup (120ml) dry chicken or vegetable broth 1 cup (240ml) heavy cream 1/2 cup (50g) grated Parmesan cheese 4 cups (120g) fresh spinach leaves 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional) Lemon wedges, for serving

Instructions

1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water, drain, and set aside. 2. Meanwhile, season salmon fillets with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook salmon for 3–4 minutes per side, until just cooked through. Remove and flake into large pieces. 3. In the same skillet, add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds. Pour in broth, scraping up any browned bits. Reduce heat and stir in cream, Parmesan, and red pepper flakes. Simmer gently 2–3 minutes until slightly thickened. 4. Add spinach to the sauce and cook just until wilted. Toss in cooked pasta and flaked salmon, adding reserved pasta water if needed. Taste and adjust seasoning. 5. Serve warm with a squeeze of lemon and garnish with extra Parmesan if desired.

Notes

• Cook pasta just until al dente so it doesn’t get mushy when combined. • Don’t overcook the salmon — it should still be tender and flaky. • Add spinach at the end to keep it vibrant. • Reserve pasta water to adjust sauce consistency as needed.
