  • Author: Lyndy
  • Total Time: 4 hours 10 minutes

Description

If you’re looking for a guilt-free, protein-packed treat that’s easy to make and deliciously satisfying, these Peanut Butter Frozen Yogurt Bars are the perfect snack

Ingredients

Scale

  • 2 cups plain Greek yogurt (full-fat or low-fat)
  • ½ cup creamy peanut butter (natural or regular)
  • ¼ cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ cup mini chocolate chips
  • Optional: 1 tbsp chia seeds or flaxseeds for extra nutrition

Instructions

  1. Mix yogurt base: In a mixing bowl, whisk together Greek yogurt, peanut butter, honey, and vanilla extract until smooth and well combined.
  2. Add mix-ins: Gently fold in the mini chocolate chips and optional chia or flaxseeds for added texture and nutrition.
  3. Pour and shape: Pour the mixture into silicone molds or a parchment-lined small baking dish. Smooth the top with a spatula.
  4. Freeze: Place the mold or dish in the freezer for at least 4-6 hours, or until the bars are fully frozen.
  5. Serve: Remove from freezer, unmold or cut into bars, and enjoy immediately. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the freezer.

Notes

Use full-fat Greek yogurt for creamier texture; low-fat works but may be less creamy. Natural peanut butter without added sugar or oils is healthiest and tastes best. Freeze bars uncovered for the first hour to prevent sticking, then cover with plastic wrap. Don’t overmix chocolate chips to prevent melting and clumping.
