- 1 cup (125g) all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup (40g) unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Wet Ingredients:
- 1 cup (225g) unsalted butter
- 2 cups (400g) granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
Add-ins and Toppings:
- 1 cup (175g) chocolate chips (semi-sweet or dark)
- 18–20 Halloween Oreos (plus a few extra for topping)
- Halloween-themed sprinkles (optional)
Instructions
- Prep: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper and lightly spray with nonstick spray.
- Wet Base: Melt butter and whisk in sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla extract.
- Dry Mix: In a bowl, sift together flour, cocoa powder, and salt.
- Combine: Slowly fold dry ingredients into wet mixture until just combined. Stir in chocolate chips.
- Layer: Spread half the batter into the pan. Arrange Oreos in a single layer. Top with remaining batter and smooth.
- Decorate: Press a few extra Oreos on top and scatter sprinkles.
- Bake: Bake 35–40 minutes or until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs. Cool completely before slicing.
Notes
- Do not overbake—brownies should stay fudgy in the center.
- Chill before slicing for clean edges.
- Substitute regular Oreos if Halloween ones aren’t available, adding festive sprinkles for color.
- Make gluten-free by swapping flour with a 1:1 GF blend.
- These brownies freeze well for up to 2 months.
