- ⅓ cup (80ml) pure maple syrup
- ¼ cup (50g) brown sugar, packed
- ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional)
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- Fresh parsley, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare carrots: Wash and peel if needed. Place baby carrots in the slow cooker.
- Make glaze: In a small bowl, whisk melted butter, maple syrup, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt until combined.
- Coat carrots: Pour the mixture over carrots and stir to coat evenly.
- Cook: Cover and cook on low 4–5 hours or high 2–3 hours, stirring once or twice.
- Serve: When carrots are tender and glaze thickened, stir again, garnish with parsley, and serve warm.
Notes
- Cut large carrots into even rounds or sticks if not using baby carrots.
- Remove the lid for the last 30 minutes if the glaze is too thin.
