Description
If you’re staring at a bunch of brown bananas on your counter wondering what to make, these 2-Ingredient Banana Donut Holes are about to become your go-to recipe.
Ingredients
2 ripe or overripe bananas (medium-large)
1¼ cups oat flour (or rolled oats blended into a fine powder)
Optional Add-ins (to make it a 3-ingredient recipe):
1 teaspoon cinnamon or vanilla extract
2 tablespoons mini chocolate chips
1 tablespoon maple syrup or honey
1 tablespoon nut butter
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease or line a mini muffin tin.
Mash the bananas in a mixing bowl until smooth.
Stir in the oat flour to form a thick, sticky batter. Mix in any optional flavors like cinnamon or chocolate chips.
Scoop the batter into each mini muffin cavity, about ¾ full.
Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until set and a toothpick comes out clean.
Let cool before enjoying. These bake up golden on the outside and tender on the inside.
Notes
- Use very ripe bananas for the sweetest, softest results.
- Don’t overbake—these should stay moist and soft.
- Blend oats finely if making oat flour at home for a better texture.
- Spice it up with a pinch of cinnamon or a drop of vanilla.
