Description

Limoncello Tiramisu Puddings are a bright, creamy, and elegant no-bake dessert layered with mascarpone cream, tangy lemon curd, and soft ladyfingers soaked in limoncello. These individual puddings are refreshing, indulgent, and incredibly easy to make — perfect for spring brunches, summer gatherings, or any time you crave a light yet luxurious treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream (120ml)
  • 1/2 cup mascarpone cheese (120g)
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 tablespoons limoncello
  • 6 ladyfingers (savoiardi)
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/2 cup lemon curd (store-bought or homemade)
  • Zest of 1 lemon (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Whip the Cream Mixture: In a mixing bowl, beat heavy cream and sugar until soft peaks form. Add mascarpone, vanilla extract, and 1 tablespoon limoncello. Beat until just combined and smooth.
  2. Prepare the Soaking Liquid: Mix remaining 2 tablespoons limoncello with 1/4 cup water in a shallow dish for dipping ladyfingers.
  3. Assemble the Layers: Break ladyfingers in half and briefly dip in the limoncello mixture. Place two halves at the bottom of each dessert cup. Add a layer of mascarpone cream and a spoonful of lemon curd. Repeat layers and finish with cream and a swirl of curd on top.
  4. Chill and Garnish: Refrigerate for at least 3 hours (overnight for best texture). Garnish with lemon zest before serving.

Notes

  • Use cold ingredients for better whipping and smooth texture.
  • Don’t oversoak the ladyfingers; a quick dip gives the right texture.
  • Chill thoroughly to allow layers to set and flavors to blend.
  • For an alcohol-free version, replace limoncello with lemon syrup or sweetened lemon juice.
  • Storage: Keep refrigerated in airtight containers up to 3 days. Not suitable for freezing.
