Description
Light, refreshing, and delicately sweet, Korean Banana Milk is one of South Korea’s most beloved beverages—and now, it’s going global.
Ingredients
Scale
Ingredients:
- 1 ripe banana (the riper, the sweeter!)
- 1 cup cold milk (dairy or plant-based)
- 1–2 tablespoons sweetened condensed milk
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
- Pinch of salt (optional, enhances flavor)
Instructions
Step 1: Choose Your Banana
Select a ripe banana with brown spots. The more ripe it is, the sweeter and more flavorful your drink will be.
Step 2: Blend the Ingredients
In a blender, combine:
- 1 ripe banana
- 1 cup cold milk
- 1–2 tablespoons sweetened condensed milk
- Optional: vanilla extract and a pinch of salt
Blend on high for 20–30 seconds until completely smooth and creamy.
Step 3: Chill and Serve
Serve immediately over ice or chill in the fridge for 30 minutes before serving. Garnish with a banana slice or mint leaf for a fancy touch.
That’s it! A refreshing, creamy banana milk recipe made in minutes.
Notes
- Fully ripe – yellow with brown spots for natural sweetness
- Not underripe – green bananas won’t blend well or taste sweet
- Soft and creamy – overripe is better than underripe for this drink
