- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1.5 lbs or 680g)
- 6 strips of bacon
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (113g)
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (57g)
- 1/4 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1/3 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup chicken broth
- Fresh parsley or chives for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Cook bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove and set on a paper towel-lined plate, then crumble once cooled.
- Season chicken with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Sear in the same skillet with olive oil for 4-5 minutes per side until golden. Remove and set aside.
- In the skillet, combine cream cheese, heavy cream, and chicken broth. Stir over medium heat until smooth. Add shredded cheddar and mozzarella, and mix until melted into a creamy sauce.
- Place seared chicken in a 9×13-inch baking dish. Pour cheese sauce over the chicken, then top with crumbled bacon.
- Bake for 15–20 minutes, or until chicken is fully cooked and cheese is bubbly. Garnish with parsley or chives and serve warm.
