Description

This Jalapeño Popper Dip is hot, creamy, cheesy, and packed with a spicy kick. Whether baked in the oven or warmed in a crockpot, it’s the ultimate party appetizer—perfect for game days, potlucks, or holiday gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 (4 ounce) can chopped green chilies, drained
  • 2 ounces canned diced jalapeño peppers, drained
  • 1 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Optional topping:

  • 1/2 cup panko bread crumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter

Instructions

  1. Oven Method: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Mix cream cheese, mayonnaise, chilies, jalapeños, Parmesan, and cheddar. Spread in baking dish. Mix panko, Parmesan, and butter, then sprinkle on top. Bake 20–25 minutes until golden and bubbly.
  2. Crockpot Method: Mix dip ingredients (without topping) and place in a small slow cooker. Cover and cook on LOW for 2–3 hours until hot and creamy. For a crunchy topping, transfer to an oven-safe dish, add topping, and broil 2–3 minutes.

Notes

  • Soften cream cheese fully before mixing for a smooth dip.
  • Adjust spice by adding fresh jalapeños or hot sauce.
  • Top with crispy panko-Parmesan mix for extra crunch.
  • Transport in a small crockpot to keep warm at parties.
