    • 1 teaspoon onion powder

    • ½ teaspoon paprika

    • ½ teaspoon black pepper

    • 1 large egg (for coating)

    • 1½ cups crushed Nacho Cheese Doritos (use a food processor or zip bag + rolling pin)

    • 1 tablespoon olive oil (optional, for extra crispiness)


Instructions

Step 1: Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking dish or line with parchment paper.

Step 2: Prepare the Filling

In a bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, shredded cheese, bacon, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and black pepper until fully combined.

Step 3: Prepare the Chicken

Using a sharp knife, carefully cut a pocket into each chicken breast without slicing all the way through. If the chicken is thick, gently pound it out slightly with a mallet for even cooking.

Stuff each chicken breast with 2–3 tablespoons of the cream cheese mixture. Use toothpicks to secure the edges if needed.

Step 4: Coat the Chicken

Beat the egg in a shallow bowl. Place crushed Doritos in another shallow dish. Dip each stuffed chicken breast in the egg, then press into the crushed chips to fully coat.

For extra crunch, lightly drizzle with olive oil or spray with cooking spray.

Step 5: Bake

Place the coated chicken in the baking dish and bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through (165°F internal temperature). The Doritos coating should be golden and crispy.

Step 6: Garnish and Serve

Let rest for 5 minutes. Remove toothpicks, slice, and garnish with fresh herbs or green onions if desired.

Notes

Don’t overfill the chicken—just enough to add creaminess without spilling during baking. Use room-temperature cream cheese for easier mixing. Lightly pressing the Doritos coating into the chicken ensures it sticks and crisps up. If the chicken seems too thick, slice or pound it thinner before stuffing. Line your pan for easy cleanup and prevent sticking.
