Description
If you’re looking for a quick and satisfying meal that delivers bold flavor with minimal prep, look no further than the Crispy Chicken Bacon Ranch Wrap.
Ingredients
- 4 large flour tortillas (10-inch size)
- 2 cups crispy chicken tenders (homemade, frozen, or store-bought), cooked and chopped
- 8 slices of cooked bacon, chopped or halved
- 1 cup shredded lettuce (iceberg or romaine)
- 1 medium tomato, diced (optional)
- ½ cup shredded cheddar or Monterey Jack cheese
- ½ cup ranch dressing (bottled or homemade)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil or butter (for toasting, optional)
Optional Add-Ins:
- Avocado slices
- Red onions
- Jalapeños for spice
- Pickles for tang
- Sliced hard-boiled eggs for protein boost
Instructions
Step 1: Warm the tortillas
Microwave each tortilla for 15 seconds or warm briefly in a dry skillet. This makes folding easier and prevents tearing.
Step 2: Layer the ingredients
Lay a tortilla flat. In the center, layer ½ cup chopped crispy chicken, 2 bacon slices, shredded cheese, lettuce, and tomato. Drizzle with 2 tablespoons ranch dressing.
Step 3: Fold the wrap
Fold in the sides of the tortilla, then roll tightly from the bottom up like a burrito.
Step 4: Toast the wrap (optional)
For added texture and warmth, brush a skillet with a little oil or butter. Toast each wrap for 2–3 minutes per side over medium heat until golden and crisp.
Step 5: Slice and serve
Slice diagonally and serve warm, with extra ranch or dipping sauce on the side.
Notes
- Don’t overfill: Too many ingredients make the wrap hard to close and prone to bursting.
- Use large tortillas: 10-inch wraps are ideal for fitting everything comfortably.
- Keep wet ingredients in the center: Prevent sogginess by layering ranch between cheese and meat, not directly on lettuce.
