Instructions

  2. Prepare the meat mixture: Soak breadcrumbs in milk for a few minutes. Then, combine the ground beef, egg, soaked breadcrumbs, chopped onion, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a large bowl.
  3. Shape and bake the meatloaf: Transfer the mixture into the loaf pan, pressing it to form a loaf. Bake in the preheated oven for 50 minutes.
  4. Make the glaze: In a small bowl, mix together ketchup, brown sugar, and apple cider vinegar. Stir until smooth.
  5. Glaze the meatloaf: After 50 minutes, brush half of the glaze over the top of the meatloaf and bake for another 10-15 minutes, until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
  6. Rest and serve: Let the meatloaf rest for 10 minutes before slicing. Serve with mashed potatoes or your favorite sides.
