Healthy and Refreshing : Berry Yogurt Bark

  • Author: Lyndy
  • Total Time: 3 hours 10 minutes

Description

Looking for a sweet, satisfying treat that won’t derail your healthy habits? This Berry Yogurt Bark is exactly what you need.

Ingredients

Scale

  • 2 cups Greek yogurt (plain or vanilla)
  • 12 tablespoons honey or maple syrup (optional, for added sweetness)
  • 1/2 cup strawberries, sliced
  • 1/2 cup blueberries
  • 1/4 cup granola (optional)

Instructions

1. Prepare your baking surface
Line a baking sheet or tray with parchment paper. This prevents sticking and helps you easily remove the bark once frozen.

2. Mix the yogurt
In a bowl, combine Greek yogurt with honey or maple syrup, if using. Stir until smooth and evenly sweetened. You can skip the sweetener if you’re using vanilla yogurt or prefer it tart.

3. Spread the yogurt
Pour the yogurt onto the prepared baking sheet and spread it into an even layer, about 1/4 to 1/2 inch thick. Don’t go too thin or it may crack when frozen.

4. Add toppings
Sprinkle the sliced strawberries, blueberries, and granola over the yogurt. Gently press them in to help them stick once frozen.

5. Freeze
Place the tray in the freezer and freeze for at least 3 hours, or until the yogurt is fully set and firm.

6. Break into pieces
Remove from the freezer and break the bark into small or large pieces using your hands or a knife.

7. Serve or store
Enjoy immediately or store in a freezer-safe container for up to 2 weeks.

Notes

  • Use silicone baking mats — Makes removal even easier.

  • Pre-cut fruit in advance — Saves time when assembling.

  • Make mini bark trays for portion control — Use cupcake liners or mini trays.

  • Let kids decorate their own section — A fun and healthy activity.

  • Add vanilla extract — For more depth of flavor if using plain yogurt.
