Ingredients
- 1 can (20 oz) crushed pineapple in juice, drained
- 1 package (3.4 oz) instant vanilla pudding mix
- 1 container (8 oz) whipped topping, thawed
- 1 cup sweetened shredded coconut
- 1 cup miniature marshmallows
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans (optional)
- Maraschino cherries or extra coconut for garnish (optional)
Instructions
Step 1: In a large bowl, combine the crushed pineapple and dry pudding mix. Stir until the pudding mix dissolves and the mixture begins to thicken.
Step 2: Fold in the whipped topping until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
Step 3: Add the shredded coconut, marshmallows, and chopped pecans (if using). Stir gently until everything is well combined.
Step 4: Cover and chill the mixture for at least 1 hour before serving. This helps the flavors meld and gives the fluff a firmer texture.
Step 5: Before serving, garnish with additional coconut or maraschino cherries if desired.
