Ingredients

Scale
  • 200g unsalted butter
  • 200g dark chocolate, chopped
  • 250g granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 100g all-purpose flour
  • 50g unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • For decoration:
  • Candy eyes
  • Halloween sprinkles (orange, black, purple)
  • Marshmallows or white chocolate for ghost shapes
  • Black or orange icing
  • Crushed cookies or chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Prep: Preheat oven to 175°C (350°F). Line a 9×13-inch tray with parchment paper.
  2. Melt chocolate & butter: In a bowl, melt butter and chocolate together until smooth. Cool slightly.
  3. Mix eggs & sugar: Whisk eggs and sugar until pale and fluffy. Add vanilla.
  4. Combine: Stir in melted chocolate mixture.
  5. Fold dry ingredients: Sift flour, cocoa, and salt into the bowl. Fold gently until just combined.
  6. Bake: Pour into prepared tray and bake 25–30 minutes, until center is just set. Cool completely.
  7. Decorate: Add candy eyes, pipe ghost shapes with icing, sprinkle crushed cookies, and finish with Halloween sprinkles.
  8. Serve: Slice into squares or spooky shapes. Enjoy your fright-night treat!

  • Don’t overbake—brownies should stay fudgy inside.
