  • Diet: Vegan

Description

This Green Goddess Kombucha Smoothie combines vibrant greens, fresh fruit, and healthy fats, along with the probiotic goodness of kombucha. Perfect for gut health and digestion, it’s a refreshing, nutrient-packed beverage ideal for anyone looking to boost their wellness routine.

Ingredients

Scale

Main Ingredients:

  • 1 cup fresh spinach (packed)
  • ½ ripe avocado
  • ½ cup pineapple chunks (fresh or frozen)
  • ½ banana (fresh or frozen)
  • ¾ cup Health-Ade Kombucha (Green Apple or Ginger Lemon flavors recommended)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
  • 34 fresh mint leaves (optional)
  • ½ teaspoon spirulina powder (optional for an extra green boost)
  • Ice cubes (optional for a thicker texture)

Instructions

  1. Prepare Ingredients: Wash and dry the spinach. Peel and pit the avocado. Chop the pineapple and banana into small pieces.
  2. Add to Blender: Place all the ingredients (except kombucha) into a high-speed blender.
  3. Add Kombucha: Slowly pour the kombucha into the blender to preserve its carbonation.
  4. Blend: Start blending at low speed and gradually increase to high until the mixture is smooth.
  5. Adjust Texture: If the smoothie is too thick, add more kombucha. For a thicker consistency, add ice cubes.
  6. Serve: Pour into a glass or smoothie bowl. You can top it with extra mint leaves or chia seeds for texture.

Notes

  • Use frozen fruit like pineapple or banana to make the smoothie thicker and creamier.
  • For a thicker texture, add ice cubes or frozen fruits.
  • If the kombucha is not fizzy, gently swirl it before adding it to your smoothie.
  • Adjust sweetness with a little honey or maple syrup if needed.
  • For a stronger mint flavor, increase the number of mint leaves.
