Glaze Donut Mug Cake : Quick & Easy Treat

  • Author: Lyndy

Description

If you’re craving something sweet but don’t want the hassle of baking a full dessert, this Glaze Donut Mug Cake is the perfect solution.

Ingredients

Scale

For the Mug Cake:

  • ¼ cup pancake mix
  • 2 tablespoons milk (any kind)
  • 1 tablespoon sugar (or erythritol for a sugar-free version)
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter or oil

For the Glaze:

  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • ½ to 1 teaspoon milk
  • Drop of vanilla extract (optional)

Instructions

Step 1: Mix Your Batter
In your mug, mix the pancake mix, sugar, milk, vanilla extract, and melted butter until you get a smooth, thick batter. Scrape down the sides to avoid any dry flour pockets.

Step 2: Microwave the Cake
Microwave the mug on high for 60–90 seconds. The cake should rise and look fluffy. It’s done when the top is set and a toothpick comes out clean.

Step 3: Make the Glaze
In a small bowl, mix powdered sugar with just enough milk to create a thick but pourable glaze. Add a tiny drop of vanilla if you like.

Step 4: Drizzle and Serve
Once the mug cake is slightly cooled, drizzle the glaze over the top. Add sprinkles or cinnamon sugar if you’re feeling extra fun.

Notes

  • Don’t over-mix: Stir just until combined to keep the cake light.
  • Use the right size mug: Too small, and the batter might overflow.
  • Don’t overcook: Start with 60 seconds, then add 10-second bursts if needed.
