Description
Ghostly Yogurt Parfaits are a fun, healthy Halloween breakfast layered with Greek yogurt, fresh berries, granola, and festive ghost decorations made from banana or piped yogurt. Perfect for Halloween morning, brunch, or spooky snacks.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups (480g) Greek yogurt (plain or vanilla)
- 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional)
- 1 cup (150g) fresh or frozen blueberries
- 1 cup (150g) fresh strawberries or raspberries, sliced
- 1 cup (100g) granola
- 1 banana, sliced into coins for ghost shapes
- Candy eyes or mini chocolate chips
- Optional: blackberries, pomegranate seeds, or kiwi slices
Instructions
- Wash and slice fruits as needed. If using frozen berries, thaw and drain excess liquid.
- In a small bowl, mix Greek yogurt with honey or maple syrup if desired.
- In clear jars or cups, layer yogurt, granola, and fruit, repeating until full. End with a layer of yogurt on top.
- To make ghosts, place banana slices on top and add mini chocolate chips or candy eyes for the face.
- Alternatively, pipe yogurt ghosts using a bag with the tip snipped off.
- Chill parfaits until ready to serve and enjoy the spooky presentation!
Notes
- Add ghost decorations right before serving to prevent browning bananas.
- Use thick yogurt for neat layering and stable ghosts.
- Make ahead up to 2 days without topping and store in airtight containers.
- Use clear cups or jars to showcase the colorful layers.
