Looking for a savory, crispy, flavor-packed side dish that’s always a hit? These Baked Garlic Parmesan Potato Wedges are everything you want in a potato recipe

Ingredients

Scale

  • 34 medium Russet potatoes, scrubbed and cut into wedges
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 2 teaspoons minced fresh garlic
  • ⅓ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh chopped parsley (optional, for garnish)

Optional additions:

  • Paprika or cayenne for a touch of spice
  • Extra parmesan for finishing
  • Lemon zest for brightness

Instructions

Step 1: Prep Your Potatoes

Wash and scrub the Russet potatoes well. Cut each potato in half lengthwise, then slice each half into 3–4 wedges depending on size. Try to keep them even for consistent baking.

Step 2: Season

In a large bowl, toss the wedges with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, minced garlic, and half of the grated Parmesan cheese. Make sure each wedge is well-coated.

Step 3: Arrange for Baking

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it. Arrange the potato wedges in a single layer, skin side down for the crispiest results. Sprinkle with the remaining Parmesan.

Step 4: Bake

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Bake the wedges for 35–40 minutes, flipping once halfway through, until golden brown, crispy on the outside, and fork-tender inside.

Step 5: Finish and Serve

Remove from the oven and sprinkle with chopped parsley and extra Parmesan if desired. Serve hot as a side, snack, or appetizer.

These steps will yield crispy, cheesy, perfectly seasoned baked garlic potatoes every ti
