Ingredients

For the Steak Bites:

  • lbs sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized cubes
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

For the Zucchini Noodles:

  • 4 medium zucchini, spiralized
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil or leftover steak juices
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • Zest of 1 lemon
  • 1 tablespoon butter (optional)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley or chopped basil for garnish

Instructions

Step 1: Prep the Zucchini Noodles
Spiralize the zucchini using a spiralizer or julienne peeler. Place the noodles in a colander and sprinkle lightly with salt to help release excess water. Let them sit while you cook the steak.

Step 2: Sear the Steak Bites
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Pat the steak pieces dry with a paper towel and season with salt and pepper. Sear the steak in batches, without overcrowding the pan, for 2–3 minutes per side until browned. Remove from the pan and set aside.

Step 3: Make the Garlic Butter Sauce
In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium and add the butter. Once melted, stir in minced garlic, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes. Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.

Step 4: Return Steak to Pan
Add the steak bites back into the pan and toss to coat in the garlic butter sauce. Cook for another 1–2 minutes just to heat through.

Step 5: Cook the Zucchini Noodles
In a separate skillet (or remove steak from the pan and reuse), heat a little oil and quickly sauté the zucchini noodles for 1–2 minutes. Add lemon juice, zest, and a touch of butter if desired. Season with salt and pepper.

Step 6: Serve and Garnish
Plate the lemon zucchini noodles and top with garlic butter steak bites. Garnish with chopped parsley, basil, or parmesan. Serve immediately.

  • Use a hot pan to get that nice sear on the outside
  • Don’t overcrowd the skillet—cook in batches for even browning
