Description

Garlic Butter Cheeseburger Rollups are a creative, fun twist on classic cheeseburgers, combining savory ground beef, melty cheese, and rich garlic butter in a soft, golden rollup. Perfect for dinner, snacks, or parties.

Ingredients

Scale

For the Cheeseburger Filling:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 small onion, finely diced
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika (optional)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon mustard (optional)

For the Rollups:

  • 1 can refrigerated pizza dough (or crescent roll dough)
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat to 375°F (190°C). Unroll dough onto a clean surface and shape into a rectangle.
  2. Cook Beef: In a skillet, heat olive oil. Cook onion 3–4 minutes, add beef, and cook through. Drain fat. Season with garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, pepper, then stir in ketchup and mustard. Remove from heat and mix in cheese.
  3. Assemble: Brush dough lightly with melted butter, sprinkle with garlic powder and parsley. Spread beef mixture evenly over dough. Roll up into a log, sealing the filling inside.
  4. Bake: Place seam-side down on parchment-lined baking sheet. Brush top with more garlic butter. Bake 15–18 minutes until golden. For extra crispiness, bake 2–3 minutes more.
  5. Slice & Serve: Cool slightly, slice into portions, and serve warm.

Notes

  • Use lean ground beef to avoid excess grease.
  • Add pickles, bacon, or jalapeños for variation.
  • Do not overstuff the dough for best results.
  • Store leftovers in fridge up to 4 days or freeze before baking.
