Ingredients

For the Fruit Salsa:

    • 1 cup (150g) strawberries, diced

    • 1 cup (150g) kiwi, diced

    • 1 cup (150g) pineapple, diced

    • 1 medium apple, finely chopped

    • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup

    • ½ teaspoon lime zest

    • 1 tablespoon lime juice

For the Cinnamon Sugar Tortilla Chips:

    • 6 flour tortillas (8-inch size)

    • 2 tablespoons butter, melted

    • 3 tablespoons granulated sugar

    • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Fruit Salsa

    1. Dice the strawberries, kiwi, pineapple, and apple into small, uniform pieces.

    1. In a bowl, mix the fruit with honey (or maple syrup), lime zest, and lime juice.

    1. Stir well and let sit in the fridge for at least 10 minutes to allow the flavors to blend.

Step 2: Make the Cinnamon Sugar Tortilla Chips

    1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

    1. In a small bowl, mix sugar and cinnamon together.

    1. Brush both sides of each tortilla with melted butter, then sprinkle evenly with the cinnamon sugar mixture.

    1. Cut each tortilla into triangle-shaped chips using a knife or pizza cutter.

    1. Place the tortilla chips in a single layer on the baking sheet.

    1. Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until golden and crispy. Let cool slightly before serving.

Step 3: Serve & Enjoy

    1. Place the fruit salsa in a serving bowl and arrange the cinnamon sugar tortilla chips on a platter.

    1. Dip the chips into the salsa and enjoy this delicious dessert dip!

Notes

    • Use fresh, ripe fruit – The juicier the fruit, the better the flavor.

    • For extra crunch – Let the tortilla chips cool completely; they crisp up as they cool.

    • Make it low-sugar – Use whole wheat tortillas and reduce the sugar amount.
