  • 1/4 cup milk

Instructions

Step 1 – Prepare the Cream Cheese Filling

In a small bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth and creamy. Fold in the chopped strawberries gently.

Step 2 – Assemble the Sandwiches

Lay out your bread slices. Spread a generous layer of the cream cheese mixture on four of them. Top with the remaining slices to make sandwiches. Press the edges gently to seal, or trim the crusts for a neater look.

Step 3 – Prepare the Egg Dip

In a shallow bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk. Add cinnamon and granulated sugar if desired for extra sweetness and flavor.

Step 4 – Dip and Fry

Heat a nonstick skillet or frying pan over medium heat and add a tablespoon of butter or oil. Dip each sandwich in the egg mixture, coating both sides evenly.

Place the dipped sandwich in the hot pan. Fry 2–3 minutes per side or until golden brown and crisp. Repeat with remaining sandwiches, adding more butter as needed.

Step 5 – Serve Warm and Enjoy
