Description

There’s no better way to welcome spring than with cheerful, colorful, and delicious treats—and these Easy Flower Pretzel Bites check every box.

Ingredients

Ingredients:

  • Mini pretzel twists or squares
  • White candy melts or vanilla almond bark
  • Pastel-colored M&M’s (you’ll need yellows for the centers, others for petals)

Optional: pink sanding sugar, pastel sprinkles, or edible glitter for extra sparkle

Instructions

Step 1: Prep Your Workspace
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or wax paper. Lay out the pretzels in a single layer, spaced evenly apart.

Step 2: Melt the Candy
Place your candy melts or almond bark in a microwave-safe bowl. Heat in 30-second increments, stirring in between, until smooth and fully melted.

Step 3: Add the Chocolate Base
Spoon about ½ teaspoon of melted candy onto the center of each pretzel. You want just enough to fill the gaps, but not overflow.

Step 4: Add the M&M Petals
While the chocolate is still warm, place one yellow M&M in the center, then surround it with five or six pastel M&M’s to create a flower. Work quickly before the candy hardens.

Step 5: Let Set and Serve
Allow the pretzel bites to cool completely at room temperature, or place the tray in the fridge for 10–15 minutes to set. Once hardened, transfer to an airtight container or serving tray.

Notes

  • Use low heat when melting: Overheated chocolate seizes or turns grainy.
  • Use a piping bag or squeeze bottle for cleaner application of melted chocolate.
  • Sort M&M colors ahead of time to make decorating faster and easier.
  • Work in batches: Add chocolate to 5–6 pretzels at a time so the chocolate doesn’t harden before you place the petals.
