If there’s one dish that never fails to satisfy a hungry crowd, it’s this Easy Cheesy Meatball Tater Tot Casserole.

- 1 (26 oz) bag frozen meatballs (homestyle or Italian)
- 1 (32 oz) bag frozen tater tots
- 1 (10.5 oz) can cream of mushroom or cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese (divided)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- Optional: chopped parsley or green onions for garnish
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
In a mixing bowl, combine the cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and 1 cup of shredded cheese.
Spread the frozen meatballs evenly across the bottom of the baking dish. Spoon the creamy mixture over the meatballs and gently spread it out. Arrange the frozen tater tots on top in a single layer.
Sprinkle the remaining 1 cup of cheese on top. Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
Remove the foil and bake for another 15–20 minutes until the tater tots are crispy and golden, and the cheese is bubbly.
Let the casserole rest for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with parsley or green onions if desired.
