Ingredients
Scale
- 1 (8 oz) bag puff corn (butter-flavored or plain)
- 12 oz white chocolate chips or candy melts
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil or coconut oil (for smoother melting)
- ½ cup Easter M&Ms or pastel-colored chocolate candies
- ¼ cup sprinkles (pastel or Easter-themed)
- ½ cup mini marshmallows (optional, for extra sweetness)
- ¼ cup crushed pretzels (optional, for a salty-sweet combo)
Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Puff Corn
- Pour the puff corn into a large mixing bowl and set aside.
Step 2: Melt the White Chocolate
- In a microwave-safe bowl, combine white chocolate chips and vegetable oil.
- Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring after each, until fully melted and smooth.
- If using a double boiler, melt the chocolate over simmering water, stirring continuously.
Step 3: Coat the Puff Corn
- Pour the melted white chocolate over the puff corn.
- Gently toss with a spatula until all the puff corn is evenly coated.
Step 4: Add the Easter Decorations
- Spread the coated puff corn onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Sprinkle with Easter M&Ms, pastel sprinkles, mini marshmallows, and crushed pretzels (if using).
Step 5: Let It Set & Serve
- Let the puff corn cool at room temperature for 30 minutes, or place in the refrigerator for 10 minutes to speed up the setting process.
- Once the chocolate is firm, break into pieces and serve in a large bowl or package in treat bags for gifts!
Notes
- Use coconut oil – Helps the chocolate melt smoother and prevents clumping.
- Don’t overheat the chocolate – Stir frequently to avoid burning.
- Add extra colors – Drizzle with melted pink, blue, or yellow candy melts for a more festive look.
