Easter Dirt Cake Casserole : Easy No-Bake Dessert

Looking for a festive, no-bake dessert that’s fun to make and even more delicious to eat? This Easter Dirt Cake Casserole is the perfect treat!

Ingredients

Scale

For the Cake Layers:

  • 1 package Easter Oreos, crushed
  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup (100g) powdered sugar
  • 2 cups cold milk
  • 1 (3.4 oz) box instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 1 (3.4 oz) box instant chocolate pudding mix
  • 1 (8 oz) container Cool Whip, thawed

For Decoration:

  • ½ cup crushed Oreos (for topping)
  • 1 cup candy eggs (like Cadbury Mini Eggs or M&M eggs)
  • Chocolate bunnies or Peeps
  • Shredded coconut (optional, dyed green for “grass”)

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Oreo Crust

Crush Easter Oreos in a food processor or by placing them in a zip-top bag and crushing them with a rolling pin. Press half of the crushed Oreos into the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish to create the first layer.

Step 2: Make the Cream Cheese Layer

In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Fold in half of the Cool Whip and spread this mixture evenly over the Oreo layer.

Step 3: Prepare the Pudding Layer

In a separate bowl, whisk together milk, vanilla pudding mix, and chocolate pudding mix until thickened (about 2 minutes). Spread over the cream cheese layer.

Step 4: Add the Final Layers

Top the pudding layer with the remaining Cool Whip, spreading evenly. Sprinkle the remaining crushed Easter Oreos over the top.

Step 5: Decorate & Chill

Decorate with candy eggs, chocolate bunnies, and shredded coconut “grass” for a fun Easter theme. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.

Notes

Use Cold Milk – Ensures the pudding sets properly.
Chill for Best Flavor – Letting it sit in the fridge enhances the texture and taste.
Make it Colorful – Dye coconut green to look like grass, or use pastel-colored M&Ms.
