Description

If you’re looking for a delicious and nostalgic dish to add to your Easter meal, this Easter Ambrosia is the perfect choice.

Ingredients

Scale

  • 1 cup Cool Whip (or homemade whipped cream)
  • ½ cup sour cream (for a slight tangy flavor)
  • 1 can (15 oz) mandarin oranges, drained
  • 1 can (20 oz) pineapple chunks, drained
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows
  • ½ cup shredded coconut
  • ½ cup maraschino cherries, halved and drained
  • ½ cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)

Instructions

  • Step 1: Combine the Creamy Base

In a large mixing bowl, stir together Cool Whip and sour cream until smooth.

Step 2: Add the Fruit and Mix

Gently fold in the mandarin oranges, pineapple chunks, cherries, and coconut.

Step 3: Add the Marshmallows and Nuts

Stir in the mini marshmallows and pecans (if using). Mix until everything is evenly coated.

    Step 4: Chill and Serve

Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving to let the flavors meld together. Serve chilled and enjoy!

Notes

Drain the Fruit Well – Excess liquid can make the salad runny.
Use Fresh Whipped Cream – For an extra fluffy and homemade touch.
Let It Chill – The flavors blend beautifully when given time to sit.
