Description
If you’re looking for the ultimate croissant breakfast sandwich, this recipe is just what you need! Buttery, flaky croissants are filled with fluffy eggs, melted cheese, and your favorite breakfast meats to create a satisfying and flavorful meal.
Ingredients
For the Sandwiches:
- 4 croissants, sliced in half
- 4 large eggs
- ¼ cup milk
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 4 slices cheese (cheddar, Swiss, or American)
- 4 slices ham, bacon, or sausage patties
Optional Add-Ins:
- ½ cup spinach or arugula
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise or Dijon mustard
- ½ avocado, sliced
- 2 tablespoons hot sauce or sriracha
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Slice the croissants in half and place them cut side up on a baking sheet. Toast in the oven for 5 minutes until lightly crispy.
In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper until combined. Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat, then pour in the egg mixture. Cook, stirring gently, until soft and fluffy. Remove from heat.
While the eggs cook, heat your ham, bacon, or sausage in another skillet until warmed through and slightly crispy.
Place a slice of cheese on the bottom half of each croissant. Add the cooked meat, followed by a scoop of fluffy scrambled eggs. Top with any additional toppings like spinach, avocado, or hot sauce. Place the top half of the croissant over the filling.
Serve warm immediately, or wrap in foil for a grab-and-go breakfast option.
Notes
✔ Use Fresh, High-Quality Croissants – The flakier, the better!
✔ Warm the Croissants – A quick toast makes them even more delicious.
✔ Don’t Overcook the Eggs – Keep them soft and slightly underdone, as they’ll continue cooking in the sandwich.
