Ingredients
Scale
- 1 large head of cauliflower, cut into florets
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
- ½ teaspoon cumin (optional, for extra warmth)
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ cup panko breadcrumbs (for extra crispiness, optional)
- ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional, for a cheesy twist)
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice (for a bright finish)
- Chopped fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
Step 1: Preheat & Prepare the Baking Sheet
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
Step 2: Season the Cauliflower
- In a large mixing bowl, toss cauliflower florets with olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, cumin, salt, and black pepper.
- Add panko breadcrumbs and Parmesan cheese (if using), then toss to coat evenly.
Step 3: Roast the Cauliflower
- Spread the cauliflower in a single layer on the baking sheet.
- Roast for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
Step 4: Finish & Serve
- Remove from oven and squeeze fresh lemon juice over the cauliflower.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
- Use high heat – Roasting at 425°F (220°C) helps achieve the crispiest texture.
- Don’t overcrowd the pan – Give each floret space to crisp up instead of steaming.
- Add breadcrumbs for extra crunch – Panko creates a crispy coating.
