For the Cheesecake Filling:
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
For the Crescent Roll Layers:
- 1 can crescent dough sheet (or crescent rolls, unrolled)
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional)
For the Topping (Optional):
- ¼ cup powdered sugar (for dusting)
- ½ teaspoon cinnamon (for extra flavor)
- 1 tablespoon honey or caramel drizzle
Instructions
Step 1: Preheat the Oven
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Step 2: Make the Cheesecake Filling
- In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
Step 3: Assemble the Crescent Rolls
- Unroll the crescent dough sheet and cut into 8 rectangles.
- Spoon 1 tablespoon of cheesecake filling onto the center of each rectangle.
- Fold the dough over the filling and pinch the edges to seal.
Step 4: Brush with Butter & Bake
- Brush each roll with melted butter and sprinkle with sugar & cinnamon.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
Step 5: Cool & Serve
- Let cool for 5 minutes, then dust with powdered sugar or drizzle with honey.
