For the Cheesecake Filling:

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

For the Crescent Roll Layers:

  • 1 can crescent dough sheet (or crescent rolls, unrolled)
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional)

For the Topping (Optional):

  • ¼ cup powdered sugar (for dusting)
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon (for extra flavor)
  • 1 tablespoon honey or caramel drizzle

Instructions

Step 1: Preheat the Oven

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Step 2: Make the Cheesecake Filling

  1. In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.

Step 3: Assemble the Crescent Rolls

  1. Unroll the crescent dough sheet and cut into 8 rectangles.
  2. Spoon 1 tablespoon of cheesecake filling onto the center of each rectangle.
  3. Fold the dough over the filling and pinch the edges to seal.

Step 4: Brush with Butter & Bake

  1. Brush each roll with melted butter and sprinkle with sugar & cinnamon.
  2. Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.

Step 5: Cool & Serve

  1. Let cool for 5 minutes, then dust with powdered sugar or drizzle with honey.
  2. Serve warm and enjoy!
