Description

If you’re in the mood for a simple but unforgettable dessert, Cinnamon Sugar Pizza is the answer. It’s sweet, soft, buttery, and finished with a golden cinnamon-sugar crust that’s impossible to resist.

Ingredients

Scale

For the crust
1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
1 tablespoon melted butter

For the cinnamon sugar topping
¼ cup granulated sugar
1 tablespoon ground cinnamon

For the glaze
½ cup powdered sugar
12 tablespoons milk (or cream)
¼ teaspoon vanilla extract

Optional topping ideas:
Mini chocolate chips
Chopped pecans or walnuts
Caramel drizzle
Maple syrup

Instructions

Step 1: Preheat the oven
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet or pizza pan with parchment paper.

Step 2: Prepare the dough
Unroll the crescent roll dough and press the seams together to form one large rectangle or round, depending on the shape you want. You can stretch it slightly to form a more traditional pizza shape if desired.

Step 3: Add butter and cinnamon sugar
Brush the melted butter evenly over the surface of the dough. In a small bowl, combine the granulated sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle this mixture generously over the buttered dough.

Step 4: Bake
Transfer the dough to the oven and bake for 10–12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the sugar is bubbling slightly.

Step 5: Make the glaze
While the pizza is baking, whisk together powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and 1 tablespoon of milk. Add more milk a little at a time until you reach your desired drizzle consistency.

Step 6: Drizzle and serve
Once the cinnamon sugar pizza is done baking, remove it from the oven and let it cool for 5 minutes. Drizzle the glaze over the top using a spoon or fork. Slice and serve warm for the best texture and flavor.

Notes

Let the dough warm slightly before pressing into shape.
Use parchment to avoid sticking and help lift the pizza cleanly.
Add just enough glaze to drizzle, not soak the surface.
For a nutty twist, top with chopped pecans or almonds before baking.
Slice with a pizza cutter after glaze has set for clean cuts.
