  • 1 cup milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat: Heat oven to 400°F (204°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Make the Filling: In a skillet, heat butter and oil. Add onion and carrots; cook 5–6 minutes. Stir in garlic, salt, pepper, thyme, and rosemary. Sprinkle flour and stir. Slowly whisk in broth, then add cream. Simmer 5 minutes until thickened. Stir in chicken and peas. Transfer to prepared dish.
  3. Make the Biscuits: In a bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt, garlic powder, and sage. Cut in cold butter until crumbly. Stir in cheddar, then add milk until a soft dough forms.
