Instructions
- Prepare the filling: Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add onion and garlic, sauté for 2–3 minutes until fragrant. Add grated carrot and zucchini, cook for an additional 5 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool. In a bowl, mix the chicken mince with the cooked vegetables, season with salt, pepper, and fresh herbs.
- Roll the pastry: Unroll the puff pastry on a clean surface. Divide the filling into two portions and place along the long edge of the pastry. Roll the pastry tightly, creating a log. Cut into individual portions, about 5–6 cm long. Brush with beaten egg for a golden finish.
- Bake: Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F). Arrange rolls on a baking tray lined with parchment paper and bake for 25–30 minutes or until golden and crispy.
