- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions
Cut the avocado in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a bowl. Mash it lightly with a fork, adding a pinch of salt and black pepper.
Toast two slices of whole-grain or sourdough bread until golden and crispy.
In a small bowl, toss the halved cherry tomatoes with olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt, and black pepper. Let them marinate for a minute.
Spread the mashed avocado evenly over the toasted bread. Spoon the marinated cherry tomatoes on top.
