Description

When you’re craving comfort food with a fun, shareable twist, look no further than Cheesy Pepperoni Pizza Bombs.

Ingredients

Scale

Main Ingredients:

  • 1 can Pillsbury Grands Biscuits (8-count, not flaky layers)
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 32 slices of pepperoni (4 per pizza bomb)
  • ½ cup pizza or marinara sauce (plus more for dipping)
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
  • Chopped parsley or basil, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Step 1: Prep the Oven

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Step 2: Prepare the Biscuits

Open the can of biscuits and separate them. Flatten each biscuit into a 4-inch circle using your hands or a rolling pin.

Step 3: Fill the Bombs

Add a spoonful of marinara or pizza sauce to the center of each biscuit, followed by 4 slices of pepperoni and a generous pinch of mozzarella cheese.

Step 4: Seal and Shape

Gather the edges of the biscuit around the filling and pinch tightly to seal. Roll gently between your hands to form a smooth ball. Place seam-side down on the baking sheet.

Step 5: Add Butter and Seasoning

Brush the tops of each pizza bomb with melted butter and sprinkle with garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and Parmesan cheese.

Step 6: Bake

Bake for 15–18 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed.

Step 7: Serve Warm

Garnish with chopped parsley or basil and serve immediately with Hidden Valley Ranch or extra pepperoni pizza dip on the side.

Notes

  • Don’t overfill: Too much sauce or cheese will make it hard to seal and cause leaks.
  • Seal tightly: Pinch and smooth the dough to avoid explosions in the oven.
  • Use parchment paper: Keeps bottoms from burning and makes cleanup easy.
