- 1/2 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, Parmesan, or blend)
- 1 large egg
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 tablespoons chopped green onions (optional)
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon butter (for greasing baking sheet)
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or grease it lightly.
- Mix Ingredients: In a bowl, combine mashed potatoes, cheese, egg, breadcrumbs, green onions, garlic powder, pepper, and salt until well combined.
- Shape Puffs: Scoop out portions and roll into balls. Place on baking sheet, spaced 2 inches apart. Gently flatten if desired.
- Bake: Bake for 20–25 minutes until golden brown and crispy, flipping halfway if needed.
- Serve: Let cool for a few minutes and serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.

- Use cold mashed potatoes for best results.
