Description
There’s something magical about the simple pleasures in life — a buttery, salty cracker, a burst of garlicky goodness, and a melty cheese center that hits you right in the nostalgia.
Ingredients
- 1 box Ritz crackers (about 60 crackers)
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
- 2 tablespoons cream cheese, softened
- 2 cloves garlic, finely minced
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley
- Pinch of salt
- Freshly ground black pepper to taste
Instructions
In a medium bowl, combine the softened butter, cream cheese, shredded cheddar, minced garlic, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, parsley, salt, and pepper. Beat until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
Tip: Make sure the butter and cream cheese are very soft to ensure the filling whips together easily.
Lay out half of the Ritz crackers, flat side up, on a clean baking sheet. Spoon or pipe a small amount of the cheesy garlic filling onto each cracker. Top with another cracker, pressing gently to form a sandwich. Repeat until all crackers are used.
Place the assembled Ritz Bits into the refrigerator for about 20–30 minutes to firm up. This helps the filling set, making them easier to serve and snack on.
Once chilled, your homemade Cheesy Garlic Ritz Bits Snacks are ready to enjoy! Serve them piled high on a platter — but be warned, they’ll disappear fast!
