- 2 tbsp chili sauce
- 1 tbsp mayonnaise
- 100g cream cheese
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 100g shredded mozzarella or cheddar cheese
- 500g flour
- 7g dry yeast
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 250ml lukewarm milk
- 50ml vegetable oil
- 1 egg (for dough)
- 1 egg yolk + 1 tsp milk (for brushing)
- Optional: sesame seeds, dried parsley, extra cheese for topping
Instructions
- Prepare the filling: Mix shredded chicken, chili sauce, mayonnaise, cream cheese, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper until creamy. Fold in shredded cheese and set aside.
- Make dough: Mix yeast with warm milk and sugar, let sit 5–10 minutes. Combine flour, salt, egg, and oil, then knead into a soft dough. Cover and let rise for 1 hour.
- Divide and fill: Punch down dough and divide into 12 pieces. Flatten, add filling, and seal tightly.
- Bake: Place buns seam-side down on a tray, brush with egg wash, and sprinkle sesame seeds. Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 20–25 minutes until golden.
- Serve: Let cool slightly before serving warm with dips or salad.
