- 2 cups fresh broccoli florets
- 20 oz cheese tortellini (fresh or refrigerated)
- 3 tbsp olive oil or unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Optional: pinch of red pepper flakes
- Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish
Instructions
- Cook Tortellini: Boil in salted water until al dente, drain, and set aside.
- Cook Chicken: Heat 2 tbsp olive oil in a skillet over medium-high. Season chicken with salt, pepper, and half the Italian seasoning. Cook until golden and cooked through, 5–6 minutes. Remove and set aside.
- Blanch Broccoli: In same skillet, add broccoli with 2–3 tbsp water. Cover and steam for 2–3 minutes until tender-crisp. Remove and set aside.
- Make Sauce: Reduce heat to medium, add remaining olive oil and garlic, sauté 1 minute. Stir in cream and chicken broth, bring to gentle simmer. Slowly whisk in Parmesan until smooth. Season with remaining Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes if using.
- Combine: Return tortellini, chicken, and broccoli to skillet. Toss to coat and heat through 2–3 minutes.
- Serve: Garnish with parsley and extra Parmesan before serving.
