  • 20 oz cheese tortellini (fresh or refrigerated)
  • 3 tbsp olive oil or unsalted butter

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook Tortellini: Boil in salted water until al dente, drain, and set aside.
  2. Cook Chicken: Heat 2 tbsp olive oil in a skillet over medium-high. Season chicken with salt, pepper, and half the Italian seasoning. Cook until golden and cooked through, 5–6 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  3. Blanch Broccoli: In same skillet, add broccoli with 2–3 tbsp water. Cover and steam for 2–3 minutes until tender-crisp. Remove and set aside.
  4. Make Sauce: Reduce heat to medium, add remaining olive oil and garlic, sauté 1 minute. Stir in cream and chicken broth, bring to gentle simmer. Slowly whisk in Parmesan until smooth. Season with remaining Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes if using.
  5. Combine: Return tortellini, chicken, and broccoli to skillet. Toss to coat and heat through 2–3 minutes.
  6. Serve: Garnish with parsley and extra Parmesan before serving.
