Description
This carnivore steak egg wrap is a quick, high-protein, low-carb meal that’s perfect for keto, caveman, and other high-protein lifestyles. Juicy steak wrapped in a fluffy egg sheet, with optional toppings, makes this a satisfying, bread-free alternative that’s ready in minutes.
Ingredients
1 medium steak (about 6–8 oz / 170–225 g, such as ribeye, sirloin, or flank) 2 large eggs 1 tablespoon butter or ghee (optional) Salt and pepper, to taste Optional Additions: 1 oz shredded cheese 2 slices avocado A sprinkle of chili flakes or smoked paprika
Instructions
1. Season steak generously with salt and pepper. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat with butter or ghee, then sear the steak for 3–4 minutes per side. Rest for 5 minutes, then slice thinly. 2. Whisk eggs with a pinch of salt and pour into a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Swirl to coat evenly and cook for 1–2 minutes until set. Slide onto a plate. 3. Place sliced steak in the center of the egg wrap. Add optional toppings like cheese or avocado. Roll or fold into a wrap. Serve hot.
Notes
• Rest steak before slicing for juicier results. • Use a non-stick skillet to make the egg easier to handle. • Cook eggs gently on medium heat to avoid browning. • Thinly slice steak to make wrapping easier.
