Description
Buffalo Chicken Sliders are the ultimate game day snack or easy dinner. These mini sandwiches are packed with spicy shredded chicken, melty cheese, and toasted Hawaiian rolls brushed in garlic butter—perfect for parties or weeknight meals.
Ingredients
3 cups cooked shredded chicken (rotisserie or baked) 1/2 cup buffalo wing sauce (like Frank’s RedHot) 1 tablespoon melted butter (mixed with chicken) 12 Hawaiian-style slider buns 1 cup shredded mozzarella or cheddar cheese 2 tablespoons ranch or blue cheese dressing (optional) For topping: 2 tablespoons unsalted butter (melted) 1 teaspoon garlic powder 1 teaspoon dried parsley
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish. 2. In a bowl, mix shredded chicken with buffalo sauce and 1 tbsp melted butter. 3. Slice slider buns horizontally as a whole block. Place the bottom half into the baking dish. 4. Layer half the cheese, then the buffalo chicken, drizzle with optional ranch or blue cheese, then add the rest of the cheese. 5. Place the top half of buns over the filling. 6. In a small bowl, mix 2 tbsp melted butter, garlic powder, and parsley. Brush over the top buns. 7. Cover with foil and bake for 15 minutes. Uncover and bake for 5 more minutes until golden and melty. 8. Cool slightly, slice, and serve warm.
Notes
Use rotisserie chicken to save time. Toast the bottom buns briefly before assembling to avoid sogginess. Add pickles, coleslaw, or sliced onions for extra texture. Not freezer-friendly; best enjoyed fresh or refrigerated up to 3 days. Reheat leftovers in the oven for 10–12 minutes at 325°F.
